As a Performance Marketing Manager at Verto you’ll report directly to our VP of Growth and work closely with the rest of the Marketing and Growth functions to execute the wider digital marketing strategy. You'll have a chance to experiment with different strategies across channels and drive the performance marketing process from end to end.
Success in this role requires the ability to decipher actions from data and deliver impact through clear actionable plans. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment where you are confident in having autonomy and executing on agreed plans. This role requires a forward-thinker with the ability to work proactively, always striving to make our marketing channels more effective and make a real impact on business goals. We’re looking for a self-starter who thinks outside the box and thrives on taking ownership of initiatives with limited oversight.
What you will be doing:
Designing, managing and executing the user acquisition campaigns across paid media channels (Facebook, Google, Paid Social, Search, Display, Ad Networks etc.)
Building a cost effective paid engine that drives good quality leads within our target market across all relevant channels
Driving a culture of continuous improvement with regards to creative, delivering (and measuring effectively) cost-effective A/B testing across social, display and other channels
Developing a strong measurement and reporting framework that provides a clear view of performance across all digital channels, closely monitoring conversion rates, measuring success, and continuously optimising for maximum ROI
Working with key stakeholders to ensure we have a joined up approach to customer targeting across marketing channels. Partnering internally with the Marketing team on content strategy, planning and executing multi-channel programs: emails, webinars, events, digital, direct mail, etc
Clearly articulating the rationale for proposed campaign tactics (channels, budget, audience, formats, etc.) and presenting these back internally
Working closely with our Sales team to ensure commercials targets are met, and their insights are incorporated in our campaigns
Contributing towards implementing digital marketing best practices, ensuring that our systems and processes remain organised and efficient. You’ll ensure that existing tools (such as Google Analytics) remain reliable and robust, and help to implement new tools that will further leverage our resources
3+ years experience in a performance marketing focused role within a high-growth startup environment or agency side
An expert in paid social and paid search
Proven track record when it comes to campaign delivery and results
Analytically-driven decision maker, strong attention to detail with the ability to capture and share key data and insights and using data to drive key marketing strategies and decisions
A self-starter that can work with minimal direction to get the job done
Good knowledge of analytics tools (ie. Google Analytics, Hotjar, Excel etc) and experience with performance marketing platforms (ie. Adwords, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Ads)
Feel confident presenting your findings to stakeholders as you help drive Verto towards its goals
