The role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Digital PR Lead to join our marketing team and drive brand awareness and link-building efforts for VertoFX. As the Digital PR Lead, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence, fostering relationships with key industry players, and securing high-quality backlinks to elevate our SEO efforts.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital PR strategy focused on building VertoFX's brand presence and securing authoritative backlinks.
Collaborate closely with the content, SEO, and social media teams to align PR efforts with overall marketing goals.
Identify and build relationships with relevant journalists, bloggers, influencers, and industry stakeholders to promote VertoFX's brand story.
Plan and manage PR campaigns, including product launches, thought leadership initiatives, and other strategic announcements.
Create compelling and newsworthy press releases, pitches, and media materials that resonate with target audiences.
Monitor industry trends, news, and competitor activities to proactively identify PR opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
Track and measure the impact of PR efforts through metrics such as media coverage, brand mentions, backlinks acquired, and SEO performance.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide PR guidance, crisis communication strategies, and support in managing any potential reputational issues.
Stay up-to-date with digital PR best practices, evolving media landscapes, and emerging technologies to drive innovation in our approach.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience (3years) in digital PR, brand building, and link-building within the fintech, technology, or related industries.
Strong network of media contacts and relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
Demonstrated track record of securing high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling press materials and pitches.
Strategic thinker with a creative mindset, capable of generating innovative PR campaigns and ideas.
Proficiency in using PR tools and platforms for media outreach, tracking, and reporting.
Familiarity with SEO principles and how PR contributes to organic search performance.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Previous experience in fintech or financial services is a plus.
